Brief Bio
Jamie Sloane is a local Artist, born and raised in Huntington, WV. He specializes in a variety of mediums and is notorious for his beautiful oil paintings and sculptures. In previous interviews, Sloane has said he's always had a passion for music and art. He studied classical music and created compositions during his time at Marshall University. He said art has always been a hobby, but now is his career. “I like to create things that are just different,” Sloane once said. “Whatever I do, I know it’s going to be risky, but it has to be good in the end when I hang it up on the wall.” Sloane now exhibits his work at his gallery and shop, Sloane Square Gallery. His work has also been featured at the Huntington Museum of Art.
