RECAP of Garden Club Meeting at Sloane Square Gallery with Guest Speaker Ken Fox

Last Updated 2/22/2023

Sloane Square Gallery hosted the Southside Garden Club regular meeting on Feb. 21st regarding Color Theory. What do you know about Color Theory? Sloane Square is bringing the powers of color combinations in a variety of ways! Participants learned about all the things you can do with just the right colors in your home, garden, or even your business.

Magic is made at the Southside Garden Club. After the regular meeting, Ken Fox, of the former Magic Makers, performed a magic trick. In an instant, a single flower bloomed into a bouquet. Fox has traveled the world but calls Huntington his home because of his family history and the beauty of the area. Fox started Magic Makers with his partner, Ken. He explained in a previous interview that entrepreneurship runs in his family. Fox said that his grandfather, William Bailey, Cabell County Sheriff, once owned several hotels, and generations to follow owned Bailey's Cafeteria.
