1930s/40s Grandmother's Rose Garden Quilt
When you enter the double doors of the Village Antiques, you will not be able to miss this beautiful 1930/40s handmade quilt (pictured above and to the right). This quilt is made with a pattern called, “Gandmother’s Rose Garden,” and you can see the elements shining through its pattern. This quilt has a unique story as it was made around during The Great Depression Era. Its maker used feed sacks, as they likely sold feed, and recycled the sacks to create prints and designs for extra money during hard times. This unique piece of history can be yours for just $215.
