Winter Arts Fest 2024

The Winter Arts Fest is a happy hour pop-up art gallery festival that highlights local talents of the past and present. The event is set in the Central City District at 14th Street West in Huntington known for its antiques and great atmosphere. This year we will also feature the design concepts for the PATH Connection Project and ask for community feedback in partnership with the City of Huntington as the Planning Department. The activity will be located at the Wild Ramp Online Food Hub.

Stroll the district, shop, and enjoy the Winter Arts Fest. See the activity highlights below:

1. Art Upstairs @ Old Hosey’s Building presented by Hattie and Nan’s: Hattie and Nan’s, in collaboration with RenewAll Inc., present Art Upstairs at the Old Hosey’s Building. Local artists will be available for a meet and greet, accompanied by music selected by DJ Jackfrute.

2. Meet the Artist @ Sloane Square Gallery: Jamie Sloane will be in attendance at the Sloane Square Gallery for a meet and greet. Purchase his most recent work and do some late-night shopping at the gallery. In addition, Jamie Sloane will live paint during his meet and greet.

3. Mini Aura Portraits @ Village Antique Mall: Sydney Stewart, owner of Spiritual So Simple and local artist, is offering mini aura portraits during Winter Arts Fest. Each aura reading will be able to reveal what each participant’s auric field looks like. Led by a spiritual practitioner, aura art allows individuals to access insight into their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

4. Exhibition of M.A Booth @ Hattie and Nan’s Antiques and Books: Dive into the artistic legacy of Melvin A. Booth with a 1960s collection of paintings curated by Joanna Sexton a pop-up gallery showcasing his nostalgic and mesmerizing paintings.

• Village Antiques, 610 14 STW: Village Antique Mall will host Syndey Stewart, Jade Gun, Kim Boley, and Efi Gianna at Village Antiques. Artists will be doing live demonstrations. These artists are on consignment at Village Antiques and have previously exhibited in Gallery 610. 

• Pam’s Marketplace, 721 14 STW: Pam’s Marketplace will exhibit a collection of paintings by local artist Gwendolyn Gorby. 

• Peddler’s Mall, 800 14STW: Hosting local artisans for meet and greets and selling opportunities.
