Pam's Marketplace
If you find yourself eating at West Tenampa Mexican Restaurant on Madison Ave, perhaps you’ll venture over to Pam’s Marketplace, which is right around the corner on 14STW! Travel the world in this one-stop antique shop, as it’s filled with many different kinds of antiques, garden supplies, and furniture.
Shop owner, Pam Mills, sat behind the counter while I toured her shop. The entrance is marked by an Elvis Presley statue, furniture is beautifully placed all over the store and chairs are hung from the ceiling. There was was all kinds of items waiting to tell their stories. But today I was interested in learning about the overview of this shop, as it was my first full tour and photo session, and I wanted to know more about Pam. Pam is from Ona, WV, and just opened her shop around two years ago, making it one of the newest antique shops on 14STW. She has many favorite items throughout the store, but today, she showed me her current favorite glass piece. A lavender-colored swan (pictured below) that she decided she was going to go ahead and take back to her home for decoration because she loved it so much.
