In a vibrant display of unity and celebration, the 2nd Annual 14th Street West Loud & Proud event, hosted by Cicada Books and Coffee, illuminated Central City with its festivities. This year's event transformed the area behind The Wild Ramp into a colorful and welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to come together, embrace diversity, and embrace the spirit of Pride. With a wide array of activities, vendors, food trucks, live music, and captivating drag performances.
The 14th Street West Loud & Proud event symbolized the power of community and the freedom to express one's true self. Behind The Wild Ramp, an array of rainbow flags and vibrant decorations set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The event drew a diverse crowd, including LGBTQ+ individuals, allies, families, and people from all walks of life, coming together to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
The event was brimming with a variety of activities catered to attendees of all ages. Colorful booths from local organizations and businesses lined the street, offering information, resources, and unique merchandise. From LGBTQ+ support groups to advocacy organizations, the vendors provided a wealth of information and opportunities to engage with the community.
Some of the highlights of the 14th Street West Loud & Proud event were the dazzling drag performances and the local Rap star that dominated the stage. The performers, renowned for their artistic flair and charisma, captivated the audience with their mesmerizing routines, combining music, and dance.
