Dear Community,

After moving to West Virginia in 2014, I scoped out all the antique shops and local hangouts. It was here, at Village Antiques & Art, that I felt the most welcome and found myself to be a returning customer. It reminded me of some shops back home. I’ve always loved antiques and vintage, and in 2021, started working for RenewAll. Seeing the transformation of the shop, due to RenewAll, has been inspiring and admirable. Seeing all the positive changes being made around Central City shows RenewAll’s commitment to the community and I’m glad to be a part of it.

One of the many things I love about working for RenewAll is my coworkers. We all want to see the shop succeed. It’s not “just a job” when you enjoy the work and the people you work with, and that’s important to me. I enjoy hearing about customer’s collections and sharing stories. I also love having the freedom to be creative, such as creating social media content and curating themed showcases.

I believe this community is worth investing in because I’ve seen firsthand the benefits of RenewAll’s efforts in revitalization, from all the events we host, to the murals and gazebo park. What makes Central City special is all the small businesses and the welcoming atmosphere. It’s not big-box stores, it’s unique. Each shop has its own personality. It makes you want to spend the day here. You can’t find that anywhere else, and that’s what I love about this community.
