The Opportunity
Village Antiques & Art is more than just a retail store. It is a curated marketplace for antiques and art, a gathering place for the community and its history, and a contributor to the Central City Business District.
As a manager, you will oversee store operations, build relationships with a diverse group of independent vendors, and lead a team of dedicated and passionate staff. We are evolving, and we're seeking a manager who will grow alongside our organization.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Vendors: Manage and maintain a community of independent sellers, including following vendor criteria, welcoming new vendors, overseeing ongoing support, and assessing performance.
- Team: Manage associates by developing schedules, coaching performance, and fostering a motivated and responsible workforce.
- Sales: Oversee merchandising, presentation, and the overall atmosphere. You are responsible for the store's aesthetic and for creating a positive impression on customers, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Operations: Oversee point of sale transactions, vendor payments, daily reconciliations, and supply procurement. You ensure smooth operations proactively.
- Brand: Manage social media, in-store marketing, and community engagement events. Serve as the store's representative and build relationships that promote brand growth.
You Are a Strong Fit If…
- You bring creativity to problem-solving. You assess a situation, choose a path, and follow through.

- You are people-centric and effectively manage policy with vendors and staff while leaving people feeling respected.
- You have an eye for how things feel: merchandising, signage, and energy.
