July 12th, 2023, marks a significant milestone for The Wild Ramp, a unique nonprofit organization that has been serving the community for the past 12 years. To commemorate this occasion, the community came out to The Wild Ramp for a day of celebration, appreciation, and of course, free cupcakes, which was a small token of gratitude for the community's continuous support.

Since its inception, The Wild Ramp has been redefining the concept of a farmer's market. Unlike traditional markets, our consignment store-like layout provides local farmers with a year-round platform to sell their produce. It all began with a vision to create a space where farmers could thrive and where the community could access fresh, locally sourced products.

Shelly Keeney, the esteemed Market Director, has been instrumental in shaping The Wild Ramp into what it is today. Her unwavering dedication and passion for supporting local farmers have been the driving force behind The Wild Ramp’s success. However, as we celebrate the 12th year of business, we also bid farewell to Shelly, who will be stepping down from her role on July 12th. We extend our deepest gratitude to Shelly for her remarkable contributions and wish her the very best in her future endeavors.

The Wild Ramp operates on a unique 80-20 model, where 80% of the profit goes directly to the farmers, ensuring they receive a fair share for their hard work and commitment. This model has not only empowered local farmers but has also cultivated a strong sense of community around sustainable agriculture.

Wild Ramp Staff and Volunteers

As we reflect on the past 12 years, we are humbled by the support and enthusiasm we have received from our loyal customers, farmers, volunteers, and staff members. The Wild Ramp's success story would not be possible without each and every one of you. Together, we have created a space that celebrates the value of local agriculture and fosters connections between producers and consumers.

We invite you to visit The Wild Ramp on July 12th to join us in commemorating this momentous occasion. Take a moment to appreciate the incredible journey we've embarked upon and the vibrant community we've built together. And of course, indulge in our delicious free cupcakes, lovingly prepared by local bakers.
