Preserving Art, Culture, and History: Action on 14STW

This past week on 14STW, volunteers from the community came out to support the Central City Association in making Central City Bloom! With donations of flowers from Huntington in Bloom, volunteers from the community, RenewAll staff, Retail Wholesale Departmental Store Union (RWDSU), and The LifeHouse, worked together on two separate days to plant flowers in front of shops and on the street.

Volunteers planted many types of flowers and trees such as petunias and zinnias. In hope to make Central City more inviting, volunteers also helped pick up trash and pull weeds from the sidewalk.
